In October 2018 I had the amazing good fortune to visit India to teach knitting on a ‘Knit For Peace’ holiday. While there we visited various projects run by the Mysore ‘Rural Literacy and Health Programme’ to whom the British ‘Charities Advisory Trust’ (of which Knit For Peace is a subsidiary) provides funding. One of these visits was to a Mysore school that benefits from the charity’s library programme. This wonderfully joyous photo was taken there:
