On Friday Sarah and I chose and announced the winners in the Shoulder To Shoulder MKAL. We each chose three winners. In proze order (1st, 2nd and 3rd), here are the winners I chose:
- Fjoydon is a knitter in New Zealand. She told us that diring the coronavirus lockdown there, citizens are advised not to ‘break your bubble’. Because of this she featured bubbles in the photos of her shawl, an idea that I loved. She has chosen to receive a print copy of Lace Knits for her prize.

2. Nina Sherry is a knitter from the US who unknowingly used chose the options I had designed for every section of her shawl! I also love the sunny colours she used. This was the first time Nina knitted German short rows, used for the wavy two-colour pattern above the edging. Nina chose a digital copy of Tup Knits for her prize.

3. Marika is a knitter in Finland, who like Fjoydon used my patterns for the edging and Section Two of the shawl, and Sarah’s lovely cable and lace pattern for Section Three. I love the gentle shades Marika used, a pale grey and very pale pink, and I think the bleached wood in this image shows them off very well. Marika has chosen the Sweet William pattern as her prize.

Well done to all our talented winners! To see Sarah’s winners and the other lovely entries, see the Prize Thread in our Ravelry group.
