All change!

As you no doubt have already noticed, my wonderful web designer, Sarah Reynolds, has overhauled my website to give it a fresh new look and to improve it for folk browsing on mobile devices. I love it, and I hope you do too! All the previous content is here, just presented in a cleaner, more accessible manner, with larger images, and easier scrolling. We’re still running the Ravelry cart for digital patterns and books, with print purchases made with Buy Now buttons, or directed to Magcloud. However, we hope to move to one integrated cart for all purchases in future, especially as I will very shortly (within just a few weeks) be setting up purchase options for print copies of Stranded Knits and Tup Knits.

Yes, you read that correctly, I am putting Stranded Knits back into print! It’s a very special arrangement I have made with a great print company that will print single copies, so if you order a copy of Stranded Knits from my site it will be printed just for you. Tup Knits will also be available in the same way, just for you.

Meanwhile if you go and look at the product pages for Droving, Shornies, Dewlap, and Gimmers, you’ll see that these patterns are now available for individual download. I will make the other Tup Knits patterns available for individual download this week.

In other news, this week I moved back into my studio, which my dear husband has almost finished renovating for me. I say ‘almost’ because there are just a few finishing touches to do (a bit of coving to add, a door to install, and a door to paint). However, the carpet is down, and my furniture is back, and I’ve started moving all my work stuff back in from its temporary home in our spare bedroom. I’ve also spent some of my leisure hours this week working on a knitted cushion for my studio sofa. I’m using some Herdwick wool I bought at Woolfest with a few scraps of other stuff for stripes. I’ll finish this week’s post with a picture of the almost finished cushion. It just needs buttons and a few handmade flower decorations, and it will be done. Then it will always remind me of one of my favourite sheep breeds, and the next best county to Yorkshire!
