Dilly Dally into autumn

During August we had the first photoshoot for my next book, with my dear friend Woolly Wormhead as photographer. The photos for the book are currently secret of course, but we did model a few garments from previously published patterns for which I wanted new photography, and I will be sharing these over the coming months. Today I am starting that process with the new photography for my Dilly Dally socks, which were originally published in my ‘A Time To Knit’ book.

The original sample for Dilly Dally was knitted in a leafy green yarn, dyed by my technical editor Karen Butler, who is also an independent dyer – ‘Literally Yarn’. However, the Knitting Goddess generously gifted me some beautiful autumnal-coloured yarn, which I thought would also be perfect for this pattern. So here are my Dilly Dally socks knitted in her ‘4ply High Twist Superwash 100% BFL’, a gorgeous British wool.
