A couple of weeks ago I shared pics of the Quaker pincushion my sister was knitting. We learned of the Yorkshire history of these pincushions last year, and this is the second one my sister has made since then. Like her first one, it is knitted at an incredibly tiny gauge, approximately 30 stitches per inch!
She’s now planning to make a third especially for me with patterns that I have chosen from Georgian period Ackworth samplers.

Beautiful and tiny!
