I love making slippers as gifts for loved ones. That’s why I’ve designed so many knitted slippers. They are relatively quick to knit, and are ideal accessories when cosied up at home in the depths of winter. A few years ago I made some Swaledale Clogs for my dear twin-sister. She was absolutely delighted with them, as much for the sentimental value as for their beauty. In fact she loved them and wore them so much that we recently had to mend a hole in one of the soles (an easy repair).
