My sister has recently finished knitting the sample for a gansey-themed jumper in Yorkshire Warmth dk/sport, knitted in the cherry red ‘Thrang’ shade. This is very similar in style and construction to Esholt from Cabled Knits. The difference comes in the texture patterns in the yoke, which in this design feature some Bavarian twisted stitch cables and a smaller (and therefore cuter!) moss stitch diamond motif. I plan to publish the pattern this spring.
