Yesterday I had a stall at a local yarn show. ‘Wild About Wool’ is a held in a community centre in Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield. There were 12 vendors and a couple of local initiatives exhibiting.
What I loved about the show was that because it was a local event, I knew lots of the folk that came to my stall, so I had a lovely day chatting with friends. I finished the day with a warm sense of how blessed I am with many friends, and the joy of connection.
Space was limited, so I just took one camping cupboard to form my stall, with a couple of dress forms to each side. I spent two days making a cover for the table, using a thick fulled wool fabric from Abraham Moon. Exhausting, and worth it!

Morning Ann. I was just looking at the picture you had off your stall and couldn’t help but admire the pattern on the green garment you had on display. Do you know where I can obtain a copy of this. I know my mother would love this being made for her. Thank you for your assistance
That’s the Woodkirk cardigan. The pattern is available in my pattern shop on this site, here: https://annkingstone.com/shop/shop/patterns/coats-and-cardigans/woodkirk/
