Description
These buttons, made using a circular loom, are known as Yorkshire Buttons, but we have no idea why! Our research to find their origins has been unproductive. However, as they are called Yorkshire Buttons, we assume there is some sort of Yorkshire connection, and that will do for me. They are lovely, and look great with handknits. See my blog post about some I made for a cushion.
The kit contains a re-usable stainless steel loom, illustrated instructions, 10g of 4ply/fingering weight Wensleydale wool, 8 thick felt circles (for stuffing the buttons) and a wool needle. Available in black, natural (cream), and red.
The finished button is for illustration purposes only. It is not included in the kit.
