Description
A uniquely constructed yoke; the overlace and contrast underlayer are knitted separately on picked up stitches from the same circle of icord. The two layers are joined at the bottom of the yoke with a three needle icord bind-off. Lots of fun, and much easier than it sounds!
The remainder of the body and sleeves are knitted on picked up stitches from the icord bind-off. Short rows drop the front neck for a flattering fit on ladies with larger chests (ie ladies like me!).
Tension/gauge is 24 stitches and 32 rounds per 10cm/4″. Suggested needle size is 3.5mm/US 4.
The pattern is written for 14 sizes, from 32-58″ chests. A full schematic is provided showing both metric and imperial measurements.
Mallorn is also available in ‘A Time To Knit’ (see ‘Books’).
