This elegant top-down pullover is accented with a picot edge at the scooped neckline while leaf lace decorates its bottom hem and cuffs.
The shoulders are constructed using the Ziggurat method, the brainchild of fellow designer Åsa Tricosa. Then the sleevecaps are formed at the same time as the rest of the yoke using a clever ‘simultaneous set-in sleeve’ construction, adapted from the Barbara Walker method. Flattering princess line shaping produces an elegant semi-tailored fit in the body.
With a low neckline and 3/4 length sleeves, Springwood is an ideal top for spring if knitted in Rowan Finest or a similar wool or wool blend yarn. Alternatively, knit it in a 4ply/fingering weight cotton or linen blend yarn for wearing in summer heat.
