Designed to flatter, April features side shaping for the waist, and short rows to scoop the front neck.
The pattern is written for 14 sizes, from 32 to 58 inch chests, measured at the full bust.
The pictured sample was made with Susan Crawford Vintage ‘Excelana’ 4ply yarn which has 165 metres/180 yards per 100g . You will need 4(4:5:5:5:5:6:6:6:7:7:7:7:8) 50g balls/ skeins of your main colour, and a ball each of three other colours.
Tension/gauge is 26 stitches and 36 rows per 4 inches in stocking stitch/stockinette. Suggested needle size is 3.0 mm/US 2½. You will also need a smaller needle (2.75mm/US2) for the moss stitch borders.
