These romantic ladies socks are designed to enhance the wearer's feeling of femininity and mystery. They are particularly effective when knitted in dark yarns, as the eyelet lace then creates twinkly stars against the dark background.

The socks are knitted top-down on 2.5mm/US1½ DPNs at a tension of 32 stitches and 44 rounds to 10cm/4". A picot edging forms the cuff which also features an optional narrow stripe of contrast metallic yarn for extra moonlight glow!

The pattern is sized for a medium ladies foot with customizable leg length. Full written instructions are given for knitting each part of the sock, including a clear step by step guide to needle management for turning the picot edge.

Materials required are 100g of any 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn plus a small amount of a 4ply metallic silver yarn if working the contrast stripe.
